In a mixing bowl, combine 1/2 cup of your butter substitute with 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 1/4 cup of granulated sugar. Mix until creamy and smooth.
Add 1 egg and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the mixture. Stir well until everything is fully incorporated.
In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, and a pinch of salt.
Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients. Stir until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
Gently fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto a piece of parchment paper, leaving space between each cookie.
Carefully place the parchment paper with the cookie dough into the air fryer basket. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
Remove the cookies from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes on a wire rack before indulging!
