Prepare the Potatoes
- Wash and peel the Russet potatoes. Cut them into even sticks, approximately 1/4 inch thick for uniform cooking.
Soak the Potatoes
- Soak the cut fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
Preheat the Air Fryer
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
Season and Oil
- Drain the potatoes and pat them dry. Toss the fries in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and any optional seasonings until well coated.
Air Frying
- Place the fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
Check for Crispiness
- Once golden brown and crispy, remove the fries and let them cool slightly before serving.
