Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Biscuit Base
- Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Sift in flour and baking powder, and fold gently.
Baking
- Spoon the batter into the prepared tray and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack.
Assembly
- Prepare the orange jelly as per package instructions. Spoon jelly onto cooled biscuit bases, then melt the chocolate and pour over the jelly. Let set.
Serving
- Once the chocolate has set, serve your Jaffa cakes with tea or coffee.
