Prepare the Leaves
- Rinse the fresh lemon balm leaves under cold water to remove any impurities.
Boil Water
- In a pot, bring 4 cups of filtered water to a boil.
Steep
- Once boiling, remove the water from heat and add the lemon balm leaves. Cover the pot and let it steep for 10-15 minutes.
Strain and Serve
- Strain the mixture into a pitcher, discarding the leaves. If desired, add a natural sweetener and garnish with lemon slices or mint leaves.
