Preparation
- In your slow cooker, combine the ground turkey, marinara sauce, and vegetable broth. Stir to mix well.
Cooking
- Add the Italian seasoning and any diced vegetables you desire. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
Finishing Touch
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella cheese, allowing them to melt into the soup. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil and the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
