Preparation Steps
- Brew a strong cup of espresso and let it cool to room temperature.
- Dip each ladyfinger briefly into the cooled espresso and arrange them in a baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip until smooth.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers and then spread the remaining mascarpone mixture on top.
- Dust the top with cocoa powder and refrigerate for at least four hours.
